Lift Material recently installed new NT handrails in the Heritage Listed Domain Tunnel located in Sydney’s Hype Park precinct. The underground moving walk connects travellers from the Domain Park to Hyde Park in Sydney’s CBD area. The moving walk is the second longest passenger conveyor in the World and the longest in the Southern Hemisphere.
The actual moving walk requires handrails 440 metres in length on each side. Lift Material replaced all four handrails over a six day period.
It was an exciting project and one that we were proud to complete.
